A presentation is an opportunity to get your message across to a large group. Unless the topic is confidential or the presentation is restricted to a pre-defined group, it is good to have many people in attendance as practucak who could beneft from hearing your message.

Think about who should be made aware that you are giving this presentaiton; who would benefit most from hearing it and could be invited to attend. (Keep space limitations in mind.) Provide invitees with as much advance notice as possible.

When telling others that you are giving this presentation be sure to provide them with the time and location so they can add it to their calendars.

Have you promised an advance copy of the deck and handouts to anyone? E.g. participants who will be remote? Can you send it to them now?
