Theodore May is the creator of Hacking Presentation Technique , Presentation Panic, and Management Résistance

Executive:  Ted draws on nearly 30 years of experience as an executive with the CBS Television Network, Drexel Burnham Lambert, Cablevision Systems Corporation, America Online, and Synacor, Inc. where he was Senior Vice President of Strategy & Business Affairs. Ted has an MBA from New York University.

Performance:  Prior to his career as an executive, Ted performed featured roles on stage and television in New York City and across the country as a member of Actor's Equity. Producing organizations include the New York Shakespeare Festival, the Manhattan Theatre Club, Lincoln Center, ABC, NBC, and others. He has a BFA from The Juilliard School.

The combination of a career spent in business strategy and development -- including negotiating multi-million $$ agreements and managing strategic partnerships with major media and technology companies coupled with professional stage and screen performance experience -- gives Ted a unique perspective and insight into the dynamics of live presentation.

In both domains and throughout his career, Ted has been an active and respected mentor and coach for junior staff, and a valued adviser to colleagues and C-level executives. Ted’s innovative approach to developing basic presentation skills and technique has been well received by university business schools as well as tech & media companies. He is currently a Board Member on the Executive Committee of the Mosaic Theater Company of D.C.
